HPI product lines developed, manufactured and marketed under both the Homz brand
name and private label include storage containers, laundry management products,

line of products with both North and South American distribution in all of its product
categories. Homz products are sold through most of the leading national retailers
and warehouse stores in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and South America.

By offering a comprehensive portfolio of products, HPI is able to more deeply penetrate
international markets. This established network provides the platform for a major
global presence (over 50 countries worldwide).
Customers are eager to work with multi-product suppliers to maximize freight and
distribution efficiency.
Part of HPI’s success internationally is its extensive product line and high-quality
packaging. All of our products are offered overseas.

Chicago-based holding company Home Products International — North America, Inc. (HPI) replaces Selfix
on the NASDAQ; Selfix remains an operating company of Home Products International — North America, Inc. |

HPI acquires Tamor Corporation, leading supplier of closet organizers and storage
containers in Leominster, Mass. |
1998 |
HPI acquires Seymour Housewares, leading supplier of laundry management products
in the U.S. |

HPI acquires Tenex Corporation's consumer storage business; product line consists
of plastic storage bins and rolling carts. |

HPI acquires Newell Plastics (Plastics, Inc), leading supplier of food storage containers. |
1999 |
HPI divests Shutters, Inc., its home improvements products division, to investor
group led by Shutters, Inc. management team. |

Home Products International — North America, Inc. is purchased by Private Equity Groups led by Equity
Group International, Inc., Walnut Group and Triyar Capital. Company delisted from
NASDAQ exchange. New management team installed. |

Company receives consent from Note Holders to eliminate requirement to file public
